Albertans have just been through the worst flooding the province has ever seen. At a financial cost that could end up in the billions of dollars and could take up to 10 years to recover, there is going to be hardship on the road to recovery.

As bad as it seems right now there is always someone who has it worse. This past week is Cambodia, one of the poorest nations in Asia, orphans there raised over $900 for victims of the floods in Alberta.

This truly shows what humanity is about. Let's keep the spirit of humanity alive by paying it forward. Let's show the world what Albertans are really like. At the same time Alberta was with floods, India was ravaged by floods also. Over 1000 people have died and villages have been wiped off the map.
